Eli Craven explores the physical and psychological potential of the image through collage, photography, sculpture and video. The acts of looking and collecting are central to his process.
He gathers images and objects and reconfigures the materials in order to charge them with new possibilities– engaging the viewer’s senses with the familiar, the bizarre, and the erotic nature of the image.
His work has been widely exhibited and published internationally, including the Opéra National de Paris and the Capture Photography Festival in Vancouver, Canada.
